In the same ranking, Piedmont is also third for “virtuosity,” which refers to the ratio between the energy actually produced and the expected energy in terms of production.

Energy communities are a strong point of regional policy, as noted by Palazzo Lascaris. Piedmont was the first region to start this experience, with the approval, as the first region in Italy, of a dedicated regional law.
